2016 US Elections

Postby Maurice » Wed Aug 19, 2015 9:07 am

The United States presidential election of 2016 is scheduled for Tuesday, November 8, 2016. It will be the 58th quadrennial U.S. presidential election.

Currently Poll show a lead for Donald Trump and Jeb Bush in the Republican Party, and Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders for the Democratic party.

What do you make of the transit chart for the elections? Who has the highest stellar support?
(Note Bernie Sanders is a solar chart, lacking time of birth)

Personal bias aside, the Republicans listed have poor transits for the elections. Trump is currently enjoying the Jupiter on his Ascendant, making him lead the rep polls... but later on, not much is going on. Saturn will lock a square to his Ascendant, from the 4th house in September, and this can deflate the enthusiasm.

Jeb Bush Like Bernie Sanders is born with a Sun/North Node conjunction (eclipse season birth) which is potent for leadership in general, but Jeb Bush does not have much activation on election day.

Both Bush and Trump will have the transiting Mars square and oppose their natal Saturn on election day, or in other words "not so happy times."

Sanders will have Jupiter and Nodal return during the whole campaign, which promises popularity increasing. At the election, Saturn is exactly square his Sun in Virgo...could go both ways...having no birth time makes it difficult to conclude.

Hillary has the advantage of having elections in the Scorpio season as is her Birthday - Transiting North Node in her 10th house is supportive.

We'll have to look at Solar Arcs for more precision.

Hillary has transiting saturn uranus forming a grand fire trine to her very powerful natal mars pluto saturn in the 9th. Venus separating from saturn plays here too. Moon on the nadir lights up her meridian axis ruled by Jupiter happily in Libra, and conjunct natal neptune possibly clearing the way in the fortunate 11th house. Could 4 scorpio mercury sun inferior conjunction 10 days before give her a boost ? Could there be some info revealed shortly before the election that gives her a surge with this and after mercury crosses her ascendant ? Mercury triggering her nodal axis, finally she gets what she's long been working towards ? I had not yet given the election much thought, waiting to see how it boils down...there's so many on the GOP side, though none seem very strong or substantive. Yes, nothing much that's favorable going on in the other charts. I think it looks good for her despite how hard they try to tear her down. Had not looked at this before so thank you Maurice for putting this up. :)

Vice President Biden expressed uncertainty about a potential White House bid on Thursday, saying any candidate must be ready to give "110 percent" of themselves when running to be the nation's commander-in-chief.
WILL HE? SHOULD HE? Astrologically, what do you think?
